Dr Prabin Baral graduated in Nepal in 2011 where he practiced general dentistry for four years. He has a passion for providing care to the disadvantaged and started his own dental clinic in a rural area of Nepal before moving to Australia to further his studies. He also has a graduate diploma in Health Science and an MBA under his belt. To pursue his passion for dentistry in Australia, he undertook the intense Australian Dental Council Exam which he successfully passed with flying colours in 2021.

He has a strong belief that treatment alone will not help his patients and consequently likes to formulate strategies with the patient at their pace, considering that every person is different. He aims to improve not only oral health but the overall well-being of every patient. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry but particularly likes root canal therapy, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry and periodontics. Prabin likes to keep himself updated with the latest dental technology and procedures through continued professional development and research papers.

Besides being a passionate dentist, Prabin loves playing soccer and cricket, and enjoys communicating with kids in sophisticated baby language which is practiced regularly at home with his new baby son, Elvin. While in Nepal, his love for hiking has taken him up to 4500 meters high in the mountains, but he has not climbed Everest…yet.

Dr. Phoebe Prowse grew up in rural NSW and graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. With a deep interest in all areas of general dentistry, Dr. Phoebe has developed a particular passion for aesthetic dentistry, specializing in crown and veneer work. She also has a strong focus on orthodontics, including both fixed braces and clear aligners, and in 2023, she completed a two-year postgraduate course with the OrthoEd Institute to further her expertise in this field.

Always committed to continuing education, Dr. Phoebe has also undertaken additional training in restorative dentistry, ensuring she stays up-to-date with the latest technology and evidence-based practices.

Dr. Phoebe’s approach to dentistry is grounded in treating patients as she would her own family. She takes the time to listen, thoroughly explain treatment options, and guide her patients in making informed decisions about their care. Her greatest reward is seeing an anxious patient leave with confidence, a child develop good habits, or someone walk away with a brighter smile and renewed self-assurance.

Hi, I'm Tracey I'm an experienced Practice Manager with over 5 years of expertise in the dental industry. Currently serving as the Practice Manager I have successfully led operations for the past 2 years, overseeing daily functions and driving improvements in patient care, team performance, and practice efficiency.

Prior to this role, I spent 3 years as the Receptionist, developing a strong foundation in patient relations, appointment scheduling, and administrative support. With a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences and optimizing office workflows, I excel in leadership, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced dental environment.

Hi I'm Georgia! I have been working as a Dental Assistant for 5 years and have been at Dental on Opal since January 2023 as Dental Assistant and Receptionist. I enjoy assisting for large restorative cases, same day crowns and extractions.

I pride myself on my ability to provide a positive and friendly dental experience for our patients and support the dental team to provide timely and practical dental solutions.

Hi I'm Sabrynah. I have been a Dental Assistant for 8 years and have stepped into the role of Clinical Co-ordinator as part of the management team. I have worked in both public and private practices, assisting for general anaesthetic dental procedures and worked at the special care unit at the Royal Hobart Hospital. These experiences have given me a wide variety of skills and knowledge. I truly enjoy being part of a dynamic team and the continuous learning that comes with it. I like how every day is different and there is something new to learn every day. I pride myself in delivering exceptional patient care.
